Commission Process

To begin the process of commissioning a portrait we first want to learn more about the subject of the portrait. Most people prefer sending us photos, but we can also meet in person to learn more about each other. During face-to-face meetings, we take our own photos of the subject. A deposit of 50% is required before we begin the portrait artwork. We accept cash, check, money order, and all major credit cards through PayPal.

You will receive two digital in-progress previews of your portrait. At these in-progress points, you may request minor changes to the portrait to capture better likeness, or to add and change details. If requests for changes require major revisions to the portrait, additional costs may accumulate. Please allow approximately eight weeks to complete the portrait. Portraits can be completed with priority deadlines with an additional fee. Please contact us for details.

Upon completion, the remaining 50% of the price is collected and the portrait will be shipped to you. You will receive this precious gift on archival quality paper or gallery stretched canvas, signed, and unframed. The artwork is created with a mix of high quality media for a truly unique look. We are committed to your satisfaction and offer this quality guarantee: if you are not satisfied upon receiving the artwork, you may ship or deliver it back to us undamaged, and we will refund you 100% of the price less your shipping charges.
