What's new with Red Tie Studios?
Tina Vaziri is teaching a six week course called Portraits for Teens at Marmalade Skies Art Studio in Austin, Tx. In addition to walk-in-and-create projects, Marmalade Skies host summer arts & crafts camps, birthday parties, baby showers, social and religious group events, and holiday programs, offer arts and crafts classes for kids and adults, and much more! For over two years they have been a staple in North Austin for children’s art classes.
It will be tons of fun! During the course, Tina will teach teens the basics of portraiture and take it a step further to bring a creative twist to the personality of the portrait. We made some changes to the details in the composition for the portrait of Michele Pagano. The first set in red, the second in green, and the final drawing in black. This is now ready to to be cleaned up and painted with comic book colors.

Brittany’s illustrated portrait gift was finished at the large poster size just in time for the goodbye party at her company. The final artwork is set off by a bright color scheme which carried the theme of having fun in California.
